myothercarsa2cv
Hi all, Appreciate this is a long shot but not quite in the market for a RiF yet. Does anybody have a Caterham GRP interchangeable deflector floating around after upgrading to carbon? Don't mind if it's a little scratched/tatty, as long as it's in one piece. Ish. prangerman
John Come and join us on the airy side. You are tall enough to have your face well dirt and grit blasted when using an aero. We'll soon outnumber the windscreen wusses at the NW Kent meet. 😬 Peter In Memoriam DMG
myothercarsa2cv
Blasted? It's exfoliation old chap 😬 Natural face lift I hear too. Not that I need it at my age, but hey, prevention is better than reaction! myothercarsa2cv
Less banter (and shameless BTTTs) and more aeroscreen offers please! Surely there must be a few old GRP 'screens out there, unloved? Unused? Possibly a little tatty? Unclefester
Wot's this about GRP aeroscreens? I've seen them in black perspex, but I'm not sure who made these.....you can see through them, they aren't opaque as GRP would be. Area Representative Nick Chan Posted July 31, 2009 Area Representative Share Posted July 31, 2009 UF, Current Caterham interchangeable aeroscreen which attaches to the front windscreen fixing point and the two central scuttle poppers is available in either carbonfibre or black GRP. I think you are referring to the earlier JPE aeroscreens that fitted to the scuttle through 5 small bolts as a semi permanent fitting. Unclefester
That's the one Nick, thanks. We have one of the smoked perspex type, but want to swap it for a set of Brooklands aeroscreens and stanchion.
