Hurtle
I think I know the answer already but looking for a second opinion. Just replace the engine in my Car (k-series). With the engine running when I put my foot on the clutch I get a loud Whirring noise. Looks like I may have jiggered the Spigot bearing during install. does that sound right? or is it the CRB? Looks like its time to take the engine back out Thanks Jason.
Stationary M25 Traveller
Sounds like CRB, as you suspected. Should always replace it when engine out, it is very cheap, and bound to fail if you don't !!
Hurtle
Annoying thing is I did replace the CBR, Thats why I was thinking Spigot Bearing. However I recall the clips that hold the CRB onto the Fork looking a little dodgy, I wonder if it has come adrift.
Stationary M25 Traveller
Hopefully you can access it by separating engine and gearbox, then sliding the engine forwards, rather than removing it completely ?
