bstark
Can I use the same wheelnuts I have for my 80's alloys (KN? 6 spoke star shaped things) for the steel Wellers I'm about to get for sprints (see Wanted)? (don't know if the steel wheels have different requirements) Bob Stark Supersprinter
Phil
We sell locking wheel nuts and the first question is weather you have alloy or steel wheels, there is a difference some of the time, best to get a new set of nuts for the steel wheels. magister
I asked the reverse question last week and got no response! ☹️ I put some Minators onto my my LA car last week, using my Weller steel wheel nuts. Had a good blat last weekend - they haven't fallen off yet! I was a bit concerned that CC seem to sell said wheel nuts specifically for steel wheels. However, I checked mine against another LA car, and the nuts were very similar. PaulB Edited by - magister on 13 Mar 2008 20:44:
GregP
I've swapped regularly between wellers and minotaurs on my LA car using the same nuts for 4 years with no problems, never thought about it, you've got me worried now!
jonboylaw
I don't know, grown men comparing their nuts on a public forum 😳 *biggrin* Sorry, I could not resist. Jon
bstark
Jon - 😬 D'oh - nothing definitive, then, so looks like I'm getting some new nuts just to be safe... Bob Stark Supersprinter
