K series sump bolt - snapped

Oh dear What a morning!

Thought I'd do the oil change and change the sump foam (even tho not due) and when dropping the sump, managed to inadvertantly tighten one of the sump bolts and it has now snapped. *redface*

I have not continued to drop the rest, does anyone have any advice on how to get this out (ground clearance is obviously the main obstacle from drilling out).

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Mark

If you need plenty of clearance and have access to an engine hoist, I have seen sevens with their nose lifted high using the engine hoist

The BEC has gone - now onto an R400!!

Thankfully, once I had dropped the sump off, I was able to unscrew the remainder of the bolt. Just need to replace the bolt now, have popped a temporary one in for now to prevent any oil from dripping through (altho unlikely).

Altogether a worrying moment, but outcome is good *wink*

Cheers
