2003 Academy car (first registered 4.4.2003).

I bought the car in 2004 & raced in SuperGrads in 2005 (13th), 2006 (9th) & 2007 (7th).

Forged pistons fitted by McMillan MotorSport in 2005.

Safety devices roll cage, side impact bar & rear wheel intrusion bar.

3 front anti roll bars (green, red & orange)

Adjustable rear anti roll bar.

New discs & pads all round 2007.

AP Racing brake balance valve.

Flexible braided rear brake hoses to allow the rear calipers to float giving more even rear brake pad wear.

Plumbed-in Lifeline fire extinguisher system (Expiry date: November 2009).

6 point Caterham drivers harness (FIA expiry: end 2008).

Momo black suede steering wheel.

High visibility doors fitted (N/S is cosmetically challenged).

Black screen surround, wipers & headlights.

Car is prepared to SuperGrad specification, only part needed to race is a seat (many racers opt for a foam bag seat made specifically for the driver).

Suspension is race set-up (camber, caster, ride height, rake, toe) & corner weighed for 76Kg driver (me!). Car will be corner weighted & ballast adjusted for the new driver.

Car qualified on Pole at the Donington Caterham race Festival this year & 2nd at Thruxton in 2006.

It could be a race winning car in the right hands……..

Car is road registered (GN03WHZ), currently taxed (Feb 2008) & MOT (24.4.08) & has covered approx. 10K mls.

Price: £11500 ono.

Photos available on request.

Hello Richard, long time, no see. Not strictly true 'cos I spotted you at Donington last year, but you were deep in conversation with a customer & I didn't want to disturb you.

☹️ Sadly my Supers car is for sale ☹️

But I've bought a mega, so I'm going to play with the big boys this season..... *smile*

Looking and listening at Mallory Plum Pudding race - the winning car "sounded" much better put together than the other Megas - really clean revving noise, no rattling, popping and banging. I suspect that the secret (other than driving it like you nicked it), is the obvious one - put it together properly. No diff whine/gearbox rattle from it either.

Pretty uninspiring answer.... purely trackside observation.

The guy that won at Mallory has won

grads x 1

supers x 1

megas x 2

He doesn't do that much on the car, runs without anti roll bars and doesn't do much testing. He seems to be having a run of good luck over the last 5 years and I guess a bit of talent.

Mark,

Got a bit carried away with the *evil* *redface*sorry 😬
