I am sure my old car from 87 (heater may have been a bit older) had 1/2 hoses on the heater because there was a reducer in the hose between the heater and the engine. Rishy Posted September 28, 2007 Share Posted September 28, 2007 5/8th on mine or 16mm if your metric (not much in it). Just replaced my old rubber hoses with 16mm silicon.
