Could anyone give me the details of the new engine options on offer. Particularly those fitted to the R300 and R400.i.e Throttle bodies,exhaust/ manifolds, valve actuation i.e mechanical? In a nutshell how they are simular and how they are different from the "older" K-series engines.

Have you asked Caterham ?

 

There does seem to be some confusion on the detail beyond the broad brush descriptions, I'd like to know more certainly. Be nice if Caterham could post on here for the benefit of a large section of their client base.

 

All I've seen are the details on the website.

There has been abit more info posted on the thread on CHITHAT. I have asked the sles people at Caterham, and have had some information. There are still alot of question marks. Are the valves Mechanical as per SLR or Hydraulic as per SL. Also I was told the wind deflector on the R300 is the old plastic thing. But apparently it is a new rap round CF jobby. More questions than answer at the moment it seems
