Andrew Willoughby Posted August 22, 2006 Share Posted August 22, 2006 I've decided to have the nose of my car painted orange, the same as the rest of the car. The nose is currently black and I want to leave the noseband unpainted. I have a local sprayshop which will do a good job, but I'm keen to get the measurements of the noseband correct. Andrew Willoughby Posted November 19, 2006 Author Share Posted November 19, 2006 Finally got round to getting my nose cone painted. When it was masked off a 4" band looked far too wide. I phoned Caterham Midlands who couldn't have been more helpful - they measured two cars in the showroom and both had a 2.5" band. That's what I went for and I'm really pleased with the result. As the same question was put by Catastrada recently I thought I should put a comment on this thread.
