Ferrino
Put some stuff on EBAY recently - see here. Also, before I bin them, does anyone have any use for the following (can send photos if you like). Free, collection from Abingdon: - Scuttle from 1989 Classic (unpainted ali) - it has holes for wiper/washer mechanism, windscreen stanchions, and holes to place Brooklands mirrors directly onto scuttle (without stanchion). - Bonnet from 1989 Classic (unpainted ali) - bit of a custom job for unusual engine installation, but might be useful for experimenting with..... - GRP Nosecone from 1989 Classic (pearlescent white!) - again, bit of a custom effort, but might be useful for mucking around with intake ideas etc.... Manxseven
Tony, I know Clive was after a bonnet to try out some mods, so he may be interested in it. Please can he have first dibs. I'll get him to let you know asap if he wants it. Cheers, Simon Caterham Fireblade here
Mark Gregory
Ferrino: I'm interested in the nosecone, is it standard apart from the pearlescent white paint? Thanks, Mark Edited by - Mark Gregory on 17 Aug 2006 15:22:
Ferrino
Simon - thanks, sure I will reserve it for him - I am due to drop something else off to him, so will bring this too if he wants it. Mark - the nosecone has some material removed where the front of the Weber carbs fouled it and I am also wondering if the dzus fastener holes had been moved to compensate..... so I don't think it would be much use for anything more than experimenting. I will see if I can take some photos tonight and get back to you. Yamaham @ Keevil

nickaddison
Hi Tony I might have a use for the scuttle (other bits would have been useful - esp the nose cone if Mark doesn't want it - for a "project" that I'll explain when I next see you...) Tony Whitley
£112 for the Logitech steering wheel I'll bet you're glad you put that on eBay I thought "£20, I can have it as a spare if mine breaks..." Sadly, mine's merely a Logitech Wingman Formula Force. Fatalism means never having to wonder if it's safe to overtake
Mark Gregory
Nick: I'll let you (& Tony) know my decision when I've had a butcher's at the photos.
Ferrino
Hi Nick - sure you can have the scuttle (and the nosecone if Mark cannot use it). Which other bits were you after? I have a complete floorpan and various other ali panels if you like!!!!! Tony - a spare!!!! This was the finest 'mainstream' wheel available - they discontinued it and they have been selling for over a ton since Yamaham @ Keevil

Ferrino
Nick - will give you a ring to arrange a day for you to pop round & peruse the auto-jumble! Yamaham @ Keevil
Ferrino
OK, the bonnet, scuttle and nosecone have gone. I've just found a large stack of old Low Flying mags which I would like to pass on to someone if they can collect - these were given to me by Sam M. Any takers?
