Redmires is very low (called in to The Sportsman for lunch - excellent hot turkey, stuffing and apple sauce sarnie) as is Ladybower (but NOT as low as it was in 1986) when we took our two girls to walk around the village. I've still got the 2 roof tiles nailed to our fence that they picked up, they didn't want to take them when they got married and left home (wonder why ) 7WotW You can live in Hope.................. even if you pay your rates to Grindleford! (as the saying goes)The Old Hall is the place to head to 'anti' and 'post' walk. Bacon butty before and copious amounts of Theakston's Old Peculiar after.TJG.
