Harry Barke put a TWIN turbo RV8 in a seven according to Chris Rees book , doesn't give a bhp figure !

Very interesting stuff ! We don't want to be thrashed at the lights by a chavved Nova with aftermarket gear bolted on .

Thought that NA 290bhp was only available at 7000 revs, not much of that lower down , the turbo kicks in initially at a more usable rev figure , and with a wastegate its better than earlier turbo installations .

Looking at the calibra turbo to see how they plumb in the bits , may ring QED to find out wether they know much about the set up .

Anyone tried sticking a turbo on the vaux lump , where does turbo fit , is there any room without hacking open lid , and what's it like to drive , any issues . have just been reading ' total vaux. mag ' , ok its chavy and mad , fun though !

Just finished ww drilling tonight , fighting slugs as they are chopping off first leaf at base the bastards , just got to keep feeding them with pellets , spraying pre/early post em . looking forward to driving something that goes more than 40k !

Neilg , if you aren't working on Sunday get in your '7' and drive to Sywell aerodrome , the Aviator pub/resturant , as its the new meet for northants '7's ok , there will be a few tvr's there too , yes its their meet as well on the same time 12.15pm , yes you will make it , no excuses !
