  1. Thanks Stu, that would be really appreciated. Hope to get approval by Friday to repair it. Would be a shame to lose an SLR. Martin
  2. Thanks for that...definitely rolled edge! Took spec for width off GP sevens page. Never measured them myself so 6.5" it is. Does that help?
  3. Hi Paul, They are 13" diam and I believe 6" wide. They have a lipped edge that makes me think they are rolled edge. Sorry, I cannot be 100% as the car isn't with me it's in the Bodyshop. Link to the original sales pictures is below if that helps? https://www.gpsevens.co.uk/portfolio-item/caterham-superlight-r-1998/ Thanks Martin
  4. Morning all, my SLR was hit by another car a couple of weeks ago and as a result I need two replacement front KN SLR alloys. Anyone have any or know of someone that has a pair? Don't really want to change all 4 to different types ideally and know these are rare as hens but trying. many thanks Martin

  6. Anyone got any lurking anywhere that they want to get rid of? Thanks Martin Edited by - 96seven on 13 Dec 2008 19:20:57
  7. Hi, I am after some advice please. I have swapped my crossflow for a Zetec and want to find a new home for the old engine. As it looks like these are worth more in bits and people were worried about the bores, its an 1800cc AX Block, I took the head off over the weekend only to find that the recent rebuild was due to some sort of metal ingestion. I have three shiney forged pistons and one thats a little 'Textured'. The engine worked a treat before taking it out, 150 bhp, but I wonder if the cosmetic damage is going to put people off. A replacement piston is around £ 150 so my question is am I better off selling the block on its own and pistons etc seperateley? BTW bores are unmarked and unworn, still have honeing marks on them. Views appreciated. Thanks
  8. It was me - First run with new springs and dampers - what a difference. Martin
