  4. Thanks for that Peter. I did call CC to see if there was a mod but "they all do that sir its a feature of the car" They did suggest that a stronger throttle spring might help so thats worth a try but they dont have any other mods. I will look up Windycorner Rick and see what he says. Todd
  5. Thanks for that Jonathan. It sums it up exactly. I will give CC a ring to see if there is a similar mod for the Sigma. Todd
  6. Ive just had my 150 Sigma flat floored at PGM Motorsport in Patridge Green in Sussex. Car now feels a lot more planted and controllable on the road. A job well done. However, the reason for my post is to find out if there is a cure for the Kangaroo effect at low speed and revs on my Superlight. I dont think having to slip the clutch is the way forward and the constant jerking backwards and forwards is not doing the diff any good. Therefore, have other people experienced this issue and found cures for it. It has been suggested that a plenum body and lightened flywheel may be a cure but im interested in the combined wisdom of the 7 membership. Thanks in advance. Todd.
  7. Its possibly the slack being taken up between the crown wheel and pinion, half shafts and gear box and is down to the tolerances in the drive train. The more miles the car has done the more play there will be in the drive chain. Todd
  8. Just a quick question on the Redline MTL gearbox oil. Which viscosity should one use in the 6 speed box to stop first to second crunch. Ive also noticed that 3rd to second at a fairly high speed is not appreciated by the gearbox. Car has done 6500 miles. Todd
  9. Thanks Rattie. If you can check the colours I would be grateful. Todd
  10. Thanks for your help Jonathan. Its appears from the circuit diagram that one of the plugs is a power socket. For what purpose Im not sure. When the weather is a bit better I will get the meter out and see what transpires. Todd
  11. Whilst rummaging around in the back of my SV I came across some cables tie wrapped to a strut running at the back of the seats. There are two sets of cables one a single wire with a red and white colour and single spade connector and the other with two spade connectors colours being red and mauve on one cable and black for the other. Vehicle is a 2010 Roadsport. Are these cable for a high level brake and stop light by some chance? Id also like to get a circuit diagram for my car, are they available on this site? Thanks in advance for your help. Todd
  12. Do those draft excluders work?
  13. Thank you all for the replies. looks like a job for this weekend.
  14. A quick question for the gearbox gurus. I dont like the round gear knob on my 6 speed box and want to replace it. My question gentlemen is does the gear knob screw on, does it use set screws, is it an interference fit (unlikely but I though I would list it) stuck on or.... Any input would be appreciated as its too cold to go in the garage and start messing around with it. Todd
  15. They are made by Thule and are plastic coated. Very strong. If you send me your email address I will send some photos to you as im not sure how to do it on this site (as im a newby). Regards
