Now gone to the great scrapyard in the sky.
New side hinged doors give me loads more space and a lot more light too.
-
Metal up-and-over garage door, complete with mechanism. In good condition. Selling due to me fitting side hinged doors for more wall space inside garage.
2134mm wide x 1981mm high (7’ wide by 6’6” high)
Free to good home, NTL contribution welcome. I will assist with dismantling but must be collected from Long Melford, Sudbury, Suffolk area.

Thanks for the offer Barkalar. I had already bought a pair on Ebay when you posted but many thanks anyway.
They have now arrived and are fitted to my car. I can confirm that Landy lenses are exactly the same as Caterham stock.
I now have two shiny new orange lenses and a spare slightly faded one as removed if anybody ever needs one in a hurry.
Thanks again for all the offers and for the advice.

It was our Dave Bridges. Not sure whether he has set up a login here, so doing it on his behalf.
P.S. what's your Campervan? We have a grey and white 1971 Bay.

Just bought a pair on Ebay for £2.98 with free postage! Might as well have two matching new ones. Bargain.
Thanks Molecular Bob for the info re Land Rovers, I didn't know that.
Thanks to Doug re Redline too. Must remember that.
What a good place Blatchat is.
-
Perfect! Many thanks.

My front indicator lens got taken out by a stone. Caterham are "out of stock" and I don't fancy shelling out £15 plus postage for a complete assembly.
It occured to me that the fashion is to fit clear lenses, and there may be a spare orange one in someones spares box.
Happy to pay postage/NTL contribution.

Sounds like Anne and Nevil. Wonder what they were up to over that way?

Hi KRL, have we met? I'm Steve, the Norfolk AR.
Do you live in Bury St Edmunds by any chance? (Just done a bit of detective work)

Spotted SV ?? KAR in BRG with yellow nose band and stripe at lunchtime today (Sunday 17th May).
Sudbury, Suffolk, heading up the hill toward Tesco store. I waved from a Red Skoda.

No it wasn't Trevor
-
Could be Trevor and Glenys. I'll put out an alert.

Hi Ian
You have Blatmail in response to your message
Regards
Steve

Interesting comments, I always thought that spotted as a seperate forum subject should be dropped. Remember when spotteds were in the chitchat forum? I think everything was all in one originally?
I've often thought that "for sale" and "wanted" should be combined too. You occasionally see somebody wanting something that's on the for sale section.
It's true that many members never visit Blatchat at all (gasp!). Also, one or two of our local members don't have Internet access at all (shock horror!)

Looking for a much loved crossflow with great spec? This is the one.
Thread re-opened now that spring is just around the corner.
-
Jonathan, there is a vestige of this thread in the For Sale section. That's where I accidentally posted it initially.
Shaun moved it across to Chitchat "to see if it was possible" but it looks as though the comment section still remains on For Sale but has lost it's title/heading etc.
Not serious as it will not normally be done, but logged anyway for Shaun's info.
-
So, we now have the feature to move posts. It's called Shaun
-
How embarrassing! Anyway, it's still a great improvement.
Now then, how about requesting a feature to move posts to the correct forum
-
Nope, still can't see it, only through my profile.
Did I post it in Chitchat or somewhere else accidentally?
-
But this post has now disappeared from the list.
-
Brilliant improvement in performance today.
Well done Shaun and team.

Hi Ian
You now have an email on the subject.
Thanks
Steve
