  1. Must have just left Stains on his way to Loo-ton. I know its a terrible pun, but I had to get it out of my systen......
  2. Hello Alex, I hope your engine is tuned better than your singing...... 😬 Steve ps...I prefer " Riders On The Storm" ( I will get the 7 back on the road by the summer. )
  3. Q 277 ??? Blue with white bonnet stripe & no windscreen, heading towards Warboys from Ramsey at 7.40pm Mon 28/08/06.....
  4. Blue with cycle wings, about 7pm heading from Burstellers towards Ramsey Rd......
  5. AF04 FET in Green. Turned into Sainsbury's car park at about 12:45.
  6. 11:50 Mon 18/07/05 Red 7 on a Q plate going towards Bridport........ 😬 Why did I have to be on holiday with the family & the tintop. I keep telling the wife 2 se7ens are cheaper to run than our Volvo. Nice day for it anyway Steve
  7. It could have been me... ❗ But what were you doing in my garage. 🤔 the 7 hasn't been out today. ☹️ It was probably Windy Miller... *thumbup* Spotted at last 😬
  8. Mine dropped through the letter box this morning.
  9. Alex, It was probably Firearms on an operation or Cat A prisoner escort. Boonie, I don't suppose for 1 minute that Kala Lane had considered how all these mobalised vets were going to get to the scene, bearing in mind that we had most of the counties roads immobalised.... At least today was quiet. Steve (Just finished the early shift, so time to knock out a few zzzzzzz's before the 1 todler demolition crew gets home from nursery)
  10. Alex, No wonder I didn't see you, I was at the scene, well up the A14 from where you were diverted off at Godmanchester. Sorry to hear about the road works at Wansford. I'll get on to the Highways Agency & get them to put more cones out. We can't have roadworks where motorists can get through without being held up Boonie, No I wasn't crewed with your TS officers, I was doing my normal job, crewing the Motorway Car. I knew they were on an operation with one of our other vehicles, looking for livestock carriers, so I asked them to attend & assist with thier expert knowledge. FH, If I spend anymore time on the A14 than I already do, I'll have to carry a tent & start paying council tax. Steve
  11. Alex, Were you in the tin top. I don't remember seeing a 7 go past whilist I was dealing with the RTC. Just for the record, the pigs were checked by a vet & were all fine. After a nice rest at Sawtry they carried on their journey to the big sty in the sky via the bacon factory. Its just as well there were not any sheep on board, my crew partner is Welsh with wellies & velcro gloves close at hand. 😬 😬 Any way there's normaly so much slow moving traffic on the A14, I'm suprised you noticed the difference. Steve Today I was mostly...............happy as a Pig In S#?t.
  12. Myles, Mirrors are covered by Reg 33 Road Vehicles (Construction & Use) Regulations 1986. The 7 is covered by the section relating to passenger vehicles with 8 or less passenger seats which are 1st used after 01/06/78. The requirement is: 1 mirror externally on the offside 1 mirror internally unless it would give no view to the rear (eg. vans with solid rear doors) 1 mirror externally on the nearside, unless an internal mirror giving an adequate view is fitted. In your case with areo-screens you should get away with one on the offside & one the nearside. You could argue that there is nowhere to mount a rear view mirror on the areo-screens, & if one was mounted, it would be so low that it would give no view to the rear. Hope this helps, Steve.
  13. It worked......time for a beer thumbsup.gif
  14. I can't get the hang of these either !! cool.gif thumbsdown.gif thumbsup.gif
