  1. Thanks mick, i managed to buy a brand new tank from a local member! My job for the weekend trying to fit it!
  2. Quoting myothercarsa2cv: Are there no alternatives for the Caterham Apollo tank? I literally can't find anything! Dry sump but that is 6 times the cost!! I ended up buying the hoses from caterham and getting a tank from a local club member!
  3. I have been offered a second hand one but if a new one isn't loads more i would consider one but can't find them forsale! Caterham says out of stock and redline said they buy them from caterham so if caterham don't have any they don't! So where else would sell them?
  4. Pictures!! 1 wheel the lowest tread is 3.5mm and the other 3 have 4-5mm! The spare has a michilen pilot sport with 5mm on it! http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq226/Scott_Dabinett/25484E2C-5E08-4CA9-9CB6-25AC0DFF0D59-2223-000001414561B7E2.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq226/Scott_Dabinett/EF6ABC1B-71EE-4311-9F51-638344AF2E5E-2223-000001415FF6D76A.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq226/Scott_Dabinett/F79E22BD-EF3E-476E-9534-5F6448905D65-2223-0000014194DB719B.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq226/Scott_Dabinett/0996D4A0-7DBA-488D-82C8-80EB175C5BFA-2223-00000141A37F642C.jpg
  5. They are just standard wheels that came on caterhams from the factory! In silver! I'm not at home at the moment so will take some proper pictures when I am home. Pictures from when I picked the car up! http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq226/Scott_Dabinett/84411b29f1bd3ab9f7cbe03382ecf4a6.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq226/Scott_Dabinett/aae9780ad2a0f68f966eb3b3b1976cf9.jpg

  9. Hi, I didn't get any interested on here when I tried selling my leather s3 seats so put them on eBay for £375 and they sold within half an hour!!
  10. Anyone? May take part exchange with other upgrades!
  11. Quoting Dangerwheels: Sorry to hear about this - just been through all this hoo-hah myself after my HG failed. As has been said, it was the biggest "get to know your seven" experience i have ever done (more so than any track day). One tip i can pass over to you - i found my a right pain in the posterior filling the coolant - tried all the suggestions i found on blatchat. The best thing i did was buy a bleed tee (some still on sale on ebay, and fitted up by the heater, which made refilling it a doddle. Once one of these is fitted, it will also ensure you can check and refill the levels easily and frequently.... which was the cause of mine in the first place (never checked the coolant level up at the heater - never thought i had to!). Hope this helps and good luck with the HG replacement. Will have a look at the bleed valves! Car is all fixed now! Got it done at DVA power!
  12. Quoting Jerry: Good to meet you today Scott. Undraditis in full swing Good to meet you too jerry! Harness's are in!! With that BTTT
  13. Looking into an Apollo tank as I am going to do quite a few track days! Are they easy enough to fit? Can it be done myself? Will ask at the monthly meet but is there anyone around the Wiltshire area that could give me a hand? Also where can I buy one from? Thanks Scott
  14. Bought this a while ago and had a bit of a change of plan with the car so putting it up forsale. Think everyone knows what they are and what they do, this one is a year old, 0-8000 RPM comes with full wiring loom with speed sensor and optional extra lap timing sensor! £575ono http://s450.photobucket.com/albums/qq226/Scott_Dabinett/?action=view¤t=39C10375-14BE-4DF3-AB2E-7E0F5C118B62-3003-000003060C5F9242.jpg&evt=user_media_share
  15. Quoting Stationary M25 Traveller: Call Phil at Road & Race near Sevenoaks in Kent. See if he has anything available to offer you. If no second hand stuff, he can source new. Phone 01959 525105. Top company thanks will give him a ring!
  16. Am i right in thinking the harness bolts are 7/16ths UNF? Car is a 1999 Roadsport Also are the holes all ready drilled and tapped on the back of the car? Dont have the car with me so cant check! It has standard seatbelts in at the moment Also how long do they have to be? I am putting in standard LUKE caterham harness's Edited by - Scott Dabinett on 19 Feb 2013 17:35:43
  17. I just ordered mine from Ram Air in Pewsay! They are on ebay, mine were for a 1600 k series. £147 for the full set posted! They were fine with me changing the address after i had ordered them so they could be sent straight to DVA Power and Dave said they include all of the hoses as some companys sell them and they only include hoses you can see!
  18. My motorbike should be sold in a couple of days so I thought I would put the feelers out for a LSD! I have a 1999 roadsport 1600! Thanks Scott
  19. Selling the leather S type seats now I have some tillets! They are in good condition! Both have adjustable runners and are ready to bolt in! Car is with DVA until next weekend so they will be available after then! £375 or make an offer! http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq226/Scott_Dabinett/d95411a35753a78dc4ef84fd00cc46b2.jpg
  20. Came out from work and the peddle went straight to the floor :-( will This be the seals in the master cylinder? Worth putting a seal kit in or updating the cylinder? If so how much is like an AP one from a supplier? (Don't fancy paying £200 for one from caterham) All this happening while the car is overheating because the head gasket has definatly gone this time! Going to DVA on Saturday!!
  21. It is tipping it down outside so I had to take the pictures in the garage which really doesn't do the bike any justice! I got it out and had forgotten how tidy it is! Started easily after a jump start and now starts on the button! When the weather is a bit better i will take it out for a ride. Tax it until April and MOT is until the 12th of may! After seeing it out again will be a shame to sell it but I just need to focus on the caterham really! http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq226/Scott_Dabinett/c8ebc8ce8af2ca1473b61b1768c0339d.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq226/Scott_Dabinett/ec4f7939f7a6fe506146fdaf914729cc.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq226/Scott_Dabinett/ce5aca5ea04aeb1d64b30a755edc575b.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/qq226/Scott_Dabinett/6575229aad11457a4b721c5407237137.jpg
  22. 2000 Suzuki SV650, 40k miles, rear hugger, renthal bars, had a brand new rear tyre and chain and sprockets 200 miles ago along with a service. Unfortualtly it is a cat c write off. I was stationary and a women reversed back and knocked the bike over. Due to the low value it was written off, was only cosmetic damage but I got it back, fixed it and it went straight through the MOT. I just don't use it now I have the caterham. Think it has a month or so tax and MOT, I am confident that it will pass so can sort it re MOTing it in the price. Bike rides really nice So don't let the cat c put you off. I will get it out the shed tomorrow and get some pictures. The accident happened after a week of me having it and I did 8k miles of it after. After £750ono Edited by - Scott Dabinett on 9 Feb 2013 11:27:50
