Having had several sets of s/h tyres that have not been 100% I am now planning on buying a brand new set for Track Days so anyone got any suggestions on what to buy and from where?

I'm running 13" rims on 6.5 front and 8.5" rears and will also invest in a set of wets so any advice or tips would be appreciated?

Who has brought what please? Size, make, supplier, price etc?

I've always used recommended 70w80 but it seems this is now not available and I've been sent 75w80

Is this likely to make any difference and can I mix them as gearbox takes just over 1l and the oil comes in a quart (.95l) so I would have to refill with 0.95l of 75w80 and top up with left over 70w80 from last time?

No rush but basically I brought 2 wheels and arranged courier collection. Seller sent separately with same shipping label so the courier is now currently holding them to ransom and want another (over and above origianl price paid) £40 to deliver

I have a CF nosecone so the CC clips dont work as the rim is much narrower then the GRP versions

Ive tried Sikaflex and silicone in a large blob to the top mesh lugs and surrounding interface but it always seems to break loose and has now damaged my ally rad
