    7 Cake

Hi If anyone would like to buy a 7 cake like the one my wife made in the January issue of low flying please email me at rwhitnall@skycom. The cake can be made to any colour or spec of your car. You can also have what flavour cake you require. The cakes are £80 and take a day to make. They serve about 15-20 portions per cake. We are based in the east midlands so will deliver/meet up to 50 miles from coalville. She also makes many different designs of cake including wedding cakes, party cakes and any cake you can think of. Sara is a fully qualified chef and has food hygiene certificate. If you would like pictures of any other cakes email me. Thanks Richard
  5. Hi all When taking the oil filter housing off my 1600k series to replace leaking gasket I had to remove the oil feed to the stack oil pressure feed. When tightening up it did not go tight. I removed the housing to find threads had pulled out. I thought that it must have been over tightened last time.I replaced the housing with a new one and checked the threads of the bolt going back. When tightening back up the same happened. Question is has the wrong bolt been fitted before and if so where can I get the correct bolt from. This is a costly oil leak. The bolt is 1" from bottom to top. Any ideas Cheers Richard
  6. Hi If you have a good condition rover 1.6 k series wet sump for sale please email me at rwhitnall@hotmail.com with a price. Thanks for your help. Cheers Richard
  7. Hi I work in a garage and when it comes to difficult oil leaks I use air con dye.You should be able to buy off the web with the uv glasses and light needed. Just pour a bit in and run it up. It might be a crack in an ali case but the dye will find it. Soon as you do just change oil. The dye is oil based and would not hurt it. Hope this helps and good luck. Rich

    Piper cams

Hi Does any 1 know if after changing the timing belt on a k series engine using the locking key on the cams if I will need to re adjust vernier pulleys as it seems to have lost a bit of power. Or could just be me thinking it has because I have changed the belt. Every pulley seemed to be locked ok but does a small amount of belt tension alter the cam timing. Thanks Richard
  9. Hi Neil. Hope you are ok. Sorted out my skeaky rear brake. It was the wheel bearing. I think you will need to change both of yours soon as they had slight play in them. See you Thurs. Cheers Rich
