I got it years ago from someone, but I never had it fitted on my car.
I guess all the packing went along time ago.
Glad you could make use of it

As Baz said - It's normal once the oil gets hot.

Jonathan,
There is no detergent.
The instructions say to use the cleaner then rinse off with cool low-pressure water?

Air Filter Cleaner - Sodium metasilicate pentahydrate (CAS No. 6634-92-0)
Air Filter Oil - Distilates (petroleum), hydro treated heavy paraffinic (CAS No. 64742-54-7),
1-Decene, homopolymer, hydrogenated (CAS No. 68037-01-4), C.I. Solvent Red 164 (CAS No. 71819-51-7)
So it's not "Snake Oil"

Richard,
I have what started life as the 'standard' rear exit exhaust for a x/flow. This was adapted to have a side exit tail pipe.
I never got round to fitting it and now have a differnt silener to fit on my car.
Yours for free to cut about but I am in Essex
But I will be going to the Silverstone Classic Saturday in the Tin Top.
Let me know if this is of any use

Have a look at the 'Clear' screen from meteor.
It's great if you are short 🙆🏻 like me.

Hi Russ - Yes remember it well.
If you are going to Stoneleigh and camping, i'll bring a bottle.
How did you get on fitting the BB half doors. Got mine on with a bit of cutting and slight bending.

The 'fireblade' did belong to Stuart "7 Nut".
I have the same screen on my car, that I picked up second hand about 8 years ago.
They were a batch made by a club member I think.
If I needed a replacement I would chose the one the Capt Sensible pointed to.
The great advantage is that you have clear vision down the bonnet.

Try using the switch several times.
This cleans the contact points

John,
Mic has just posted one in the 'for sale'.
You could then off set the cost by selling yours.
Just a thought 😬

I think they act as a 'dust cover' to ensure the surface of the reflctor stays shinny.

X/Flow 234 Cam - Valve Clearance
in TechTalk
Posted
I have a 1700 X/flow with 234 cam but had set my tappet clearance according to a standard 'Haynes' manual for a 1600cc.
Having checked the Kent Cams web site they specify.
Inlet 0.56mm (0.22")
Ex. 0.61mm (0.24")
Can someone confirm these are 'engine cold' settings.
Thanks
Richard
