I have a 1.6K series engine, however my fuel tank is carb tank. I am experiencing fuel starvation going around sharp corners when the vehicle is being driven hard. I have been told the remedy is to fit a swirl pot with a low pressure pump suppling fuel to the swirl pot and a high pressure pump supplying fuel to the injection system.
My query is, does the swirl pot need to be fitted near the fuel tank or can it be fitted at the front in the engine bay, which is my preference.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
