  1. As i was obviously incorrect and there are gentlemen in Class 3 ,so  i have ordered ZZS , but does that then make me a gentlemen??? a first time for everything!!!!  Apologies to all for the earlier grumpiness.

  2. I  realise  that a gentleman's  agreement cannot include  all newcomers  as they need the option to use tyres  they have , and If a competitive driver joined class 3 with a different tyre  and was quickest the agreement would quickly tumble. But maybe the assumption of gentlemen in Class 3 is the problem !!! I will give it a couple of weeks and then plough my own furrow.

  3. if as Chris says Class three is 1B, can we have confirmation if class three has a gentlemen's agreement on ZZS ? And a list of names who is agreeing with this , then we know how to proceed , if not I will go ZZR in road going compound ,why do we have to wait to the last minute to spend £500  and find we cannot get the tyres we need. I am happy for a gentlemen's agreement and I am assuming these tyres will easily last two seasons so the gentlemen so agreement needs to be for this minimum period. Can a leading class 3 competitor start a list that we can join and see that we have a majority of regular competitors.

    regards

  4. Buggggr,

  5. In regard to class 3 increasing to 175hp , from what i have seen in the last two seasons i believe any one competing for class honours would strive to bring their cars up to 175+/- 10bhp, and 150hp cars would become uncompetitive and would naturally want  drop to class 2, but this would mean 1a tyres which is not appealing, so if this 175hp proposal were to go ahead would it be combined with class 2 moving up to 1b tyres, as these i believe are the tyres the majority of 150hp cars are currently sold with.

  6. As a happy Class 3 competitor , my vote will be for 1 b tyres, and a 150hp limit with a 5hp leeway.

In regard to the scoring system i will let wiser heads prevail, but thats because i'm not quite sure how it works now!!
