The switch has worked fine in the past, although I don't usually switch off the engine this way. Tried it today and the engine continues to run. Iv'e checked all conections which seem fine and as it has worked perfectly in the past, i'm beginning to think it may be the cut off switch itself. Do these switches wear out or should I be looking elsewere? The engine is a vauxhall with DTA ECU. Thanks Dave.

Chris, Thanks for the reply. The engine is a 240 BHP QED Vauxhall 2.0 16v XE, the ECU is a DTA. It seems to have no problem starting first time but can sometimes fail to start when hot. When I press the start button, the stack reads 'low battery 8 volts'. I initially replaced the battery, however this has not worked. Dave

Advice Please. I'm having problems starting when hot. My battery is new. My stack is telling me that my battery/charge is fluctuating between 12.9 & 13.1 volts. Is my alternator dead? Many thanks Dave.

Roughly how much should I expect to pay for a complete respray? IKnow that it depends on a number of factors, type of paint, colour etc, but would appreciate a rough guide from anyone who's had this done recently. Thanks Dave.

Arnie/Alex et al, Just bought a VX QED 240bhp and want to do an oil change. At the moment its running Comma Syner-G 5w-40. I also have a supply of Millers 5w-40 competition engine oil. What oil would you recommend and what is the oil capacity.(Dry Sumped) Many thanks Dave.
