Ah, congratulations indeed!

Loton is definitely a payer.  But that said, at some venues there are extra tickets given with entries so it might be worth asking if a competitor has spares.  I'm thinking of Harewood for example.

I was under the impression that the Simpson device was more expensive than Hans but that the belts wouldn't need to be moved, so that some of the extra cost was soaked up.  That seemed the best reason to go for one, but it seems that's not the case. 

The only extra benefit over Hans I can see now is the lateral restraint it gives (I think).

I have one of these for sale too, in case anyone is interested.  It's little used and in great condition.  I'd let it go for the same price as Mankee has his.

I think I'll be starting on my CR500s and seeing where they get me.  I might as well use them as they don't get much use on the road.  Once I realise they are 3 seconds off the pace, I'll change to ZZSs though, for sure.

It's crazy money for such a simple request!  It's not as though they have to do any work.  You send the SAE and the evidence, so how do they justify £20?

I went to Arch for mine.  Like Richard, my belts are mounted under the rail now.  I have lowered floors and a Tillett, and am 5'10".

I must have got lucky when Dave was there as I got a free one back in about three or four weeks.

Mmm, I wondered that too, seeing as there seem to be a few who have been before that got an entry.

Looking at p170 of the appropriate section of the MSA Blue Book (see link), BS6658 is not listed as being acceptable.  The required standards are listed and everyone has to follow those standards.  There must also be an MSA sticker attached (available from a scrutineer upon their inspection)

I need to free some funds, so my vbox lite for Caterham edition is for sale for £1100 (£130 off new price). As new excellent condition, with six months warranty left. I'll throw in the softbits strap for it too.
