Good plan. I've got to find myself a 7 first though. That takes up a fair bit of time trawling for sale ads etc. Once I have my car I'll be able to fill the "searching for car" time with "what should I do with the ccar next" time 😬
Chris
Substitute tea for coffee and that all sounds very familiar at the moment

I like that plan.

Decided to ask my boss if he had anything he wanted me to do. He gave me some stuff so I thought I'd have look on here.
It doesn't make any difference whether I have work or not - I always end up in the same place. I can always find time for Blatchat.
Any ideas for when I've ploughed my way through this pile?
-
Having a really quiet day at work. Everything seems to have slowed down for Christmas already.
What do you lot get up to when you're at work but not working? (Apart from Blatchat obviously)

Thanks very much Charlie. It looks perfect for me but I don't think I can quite afford it ☹️
Martin - so it was you that I had those missed calls from. I must get a new mobile, the one I have at the moment is so old it doesn't even take messages 😳 Sorry I missed you.
I'm hoping to make it to the Cheshire meet tomorrow night so I'll see you there.

I'm still searching so BTTT *arrowup*

Thanks for those Mav.
I believe Charlie's car is now sold.
I'll have to have another think about Giles's car.
If something comes up I'll be in touch (again!).

Sorry I've taken so long to respond - I've been after another car but that hasn't worked out. Unfortunately I can't afford to stretch my budget even though your car is just what I'm after. It sounds as though it is worth more than I have. Good luck finding a buyer.
Anyone else 🤔

Hi Charlie
Thanks for the post.
I'm going to look at another at the weekend. If I'm still looking after that I'll contact you.
-
Thanks Mike.
Nothing there quite fits the bill unfortunately. I believe the cars are either sold or too expensive (I do love the look of Rory's car though ).

I am looking for a VX Classic for road use and the occassional track day.
The car must have a painted body, have cycle wings, an FIA bar (or cage), weather equipment and be in sound mechanical condition with tidy bodywork.
I would prefer a car that hasn't raced too much (ex academy is no problem) although I would consider a graduates racer but would have to take into account any costs involved in making it road friendly.
My budget is £8,500.
Have you got what I'm looking for?
Cash waiting for the right car 😬

I saw this car parked at Oulton Park at the weekend and it looked in great condition
Good luck finding a buyer Pete. I wish I could help by taking it off your hands but I think I've got a bit more saving to do yet ☹️

That's better
Anyone want to sell me a VX Classic for 5 grand 🤔

Bugger.
It really doesn't like pound signs does it?
Lets try a different tack.

Peter, I've just seen this on the autotrader web site (www.autotrader.co.uk) and thought it might be of some use.
