You should be able to get one from Caterham (part No 6121831B)for around £3 + vat.I levered the old one out with a screwdriver and the new one should just push in.
Cheers Gary.I had another look at it today and with the release bearing in position on the clutch fork I dont think it would last more than 5 minutes due to excessive movement without the sleeve.I also showed it to a reputable engine builder guy in my area who also agreed it looked pretty hopeless without some form of sleeve.I got an e-mail from Len at Quaife today who strongly advised against making up a sleeve to fit.All very confusing .

Just back in from the garage and it's back to the drawing board. It appears the seal on the sleeve of the 6 speed is smaller in diameter than that of the cover on the Quaife. If no-one can help , there may well be a very cheap Quaife appearing soon in the for sale section!
Hi Gary , I phones Len at Quaife today and was told that no sleeve was available.I presume you got your box direct from Quaife? Looks like I'll have to use the sleeve off the 6 speed box and drill new holes.Cheers anyway.

I was wondering if anyone has fitted the new G60 Quaife to the R500 (K) whilst retaining the standard release bearing/clutch cable? On the old 6 speed there is a larger diameter sleeve for the release bearing to slide onto.I cant see any way of putting the sleeve on to the new Quaife as the bolt pattern is different .If I was to fit a smaller diameter release bearing (assuming one was available) surely fitting it straght on to the spinning shaft without a sleeve would wear it out in 5 minutes. HELP!!
Cheers. Trev
Can anyone please tell me the best way to fit the above. My old six speed box had threaded holes to which the bolts would go through the bellhousing and into the g/box.On the new Quaife the holes are not threaded and are quite a bit smaller and the holes in the bellhousing aren't threaded either.I spoke to Quaife this morning who said the bellhousings normally have a thread in them and the bolts go through the gearbox 1st.Any advice appreciated.

Hi Taffy , I got the prop from RIF and it is the CTG one. Its a pity that its hidden under the car as it really is a work of art.
Cheers Simon , I thought that I would need some fancy twin plate set up to reduce the inertia etc ,but if youve found the AP one up to the job then I will just renew whats in already, although its probably only done a couple of hundred miles. Many thanks.

Looking for a bit of advice as to what clutch to go for.The engine ( K series ) will have around 250 bhp with the new Quaife sequential and carbon prop. Using the standard R500 flywheel am I correct in thinking that I need a 7 1/4" clutch ? I want to keep it cable operated and the car is used solely for hillclmbs/sprints so also not sure what type of plates to go for ?? Any advice much appreciated.
