    This is PC madness, especially as a lot of us have cycle wings that are fixed on with plastic tie-wraps Come to think of it, what about the plastic bolts some use to fix the rear wings on?

    Just been reading this thread with interest as I've often wondered why inboard suspension has never really taken off, despite the theory saying it should be better. If it really is better on a 7 then why don't Caterham fit it to their range topping 620R? Says it all I reckon.

    I'm actually amazed that I'm still on my original road type clutch after 30Kmiles, with a fair bit of heavy comp use. I know I'm not putting as much power through as Shaun but still surprises me.

    Bit of an off the wall question this.. Are dogs allowed at curborough? Obviously not in the paddock area, we are thinking of bringing our couple of fluff balls with us to Curb 2.

    Come on these are a bargain , will be going on Ebay or Pistonheads soon Edited to say the soft compound is great for road use. I used supersofts on the road and was amazed how long they lasted and nice and sticky. A brilliant dry road tyre and surprisingly good in the wet. Never used the softs on track days, supersofts go squidgy after a few hard laps so I'm guessing the softs would be better. Edited by - Martin S. on 22 Jun 2014 09:47:42

    2 off 215 50 13 never used 2 off 235 45 13 scrubbed (20 miles use only) All in K21 soft compound. Stored in the dark and in perfect condition. £180 for all 4. I won't deliver but if you want to arrange collection from Warrington or Liverpool or I can bring to Aintree sprint on 28th June or Curborough 23/24th August.

    I'm pretty sure my 7 (1994) doesn't have a fan relay, i.e. the rad switch is just in series with the pos power feed to the fan. As my car doesn't have an interior heater/fan any more (why would you want a heater in a 7?!) I simply wired the now spare interior heater fan switch in parallel (across) the rad switch. A relay would be better to reduce volt drop but as a quick fix it works well.
