  1. It's heavy and it's in the way, ported and big valve complete cylinder head (valves and rocker assembly), removed to replace with one that had been converted to unleaded. Nothing wrong with it at all. Would like offers and will donate 50% of final sale price to NTL. Prefer collection or would deliver reasonably locally (live in Horsham, West Sussex). Generous offers please. Also have a standard gey grill, track day bracket lap timer thingy (a metal one and a carbon fibre one too... how sexy is that), standard roll bar ... all off 1700 Super Sprint, same deal 50% to NTL. Please make an offer .... thanks Keith Keith
  2. Not far away and pass Farnham most days, I have a good condition except for extended cuts for the FIA bar that the car I bought had fitted. All I would ask is a donation to NTL. Call me on 01403 822028 Cheers Keith Keith
  3. Standard factory roll bar off a 1998 Classic X Flow Super Sprint, also a standard grey grill, lap timer 'thingy' for fixing to the front, boot cover black vinyl (has been cut to fit around an FIA roll bar) .... all good condition (except the extra cuts in the boot cover which could be repaired easilly), just want a donation to NTL. Also have cylinder head - 1700cc Big Valve, ported, complete (not unleaded seats).... sensible offers please. Merry Christmas Keith
  4. Hi Ed ... have emailed photos. Will call you tomorrow, likely to be late afternoon. Regards Keith
  5. Had something that sounds very similar with mine, take off the starter motor and count the teeth on the starter ring on the fly wheel (you can usually manage to accurately estimate without too much trouble, then talk to James Whiting and he may be able to help by supplying the right motor. Worked for me .... Good luck. Keith
  6. Hi there .... excellent 1998 X Flow Super Sprint, twin 45's, 135bhp, black cycle wings and alloy, unleaded, all the gear, Q plate but professional build, look in the for sale in the last 10days under Kwilson395 for more details.... only 3,700miles, really superb...£6995 no haggling, worth well over £9k in the spring. Horsham, West Sussex Keith
  7. It would help if you tell us which model the 'bit in question' is being removed from? Keith
  8. I have a very special 1700 X Flow Supersprint 135bhp, 4 speed, live axle, very very smart and only 3700 miles from new. OK it is on a Q plate but was built professionally and gives you that smile you are looking for when you drive it. All the sensible thongs have been done without becoming a real petrol head / boy racer. I am looking for about £9k but you have nothing to do but drive and enjoy and not spend a fortune every year tuning and tweaking. Let me know if you are intereested I am in West Sussex. Happy hunting .... Keith
  9. Hi there .... if you are looking for a standard grill and not the one with 7 on it then there is one on ebay at £2. Apologies if you are looking for the non-standard variety. Happy searching .... Keith
  10. 1997 Super Sprint – Polished Alloy and Black…… very smart and appealing. NEVER raced or driven at track-days. Mainly dry miles and always garaged and covered. Professional build by John Milicevic (He builds very good quick Seven's according to James Whiting). Photos of build, all receipts and Build manual, FSH, 2 very careful owners. 135 BHP, 1700cc X Flow, Live axle, Long Cockpit, Big Valves, Unleaded Head, Twin Weber 45’s with K&N’s, Expansion tank, Facet electric fuel pump (located where you cannot hear it)and Filter King regulator. Chassis painted with Hammerite, Adjustable shocks, Excellent Revolution Alloys, Stainless fittings wherever possible. Polished Alloy with Black Cycle wings and nose cone, Rear wing Stainless Stone guards, FIA Roll bar, Seven Grill, Chrome Headlights, Clear Indicator lens, Full weather gear, Wing mirrors, Wind deflectors, Hood bag, Full Tonneau, Unused Spare wheel mounted at rear. Black ‘S’ Type Seats and Headrests, Willans Harnesses, Transmission tunnel cover, Black Carpets, Tiny Mota-lita wheel, Interior Cockpit side trims (hide the battery isolator wiring), Map / Stuff pocket, Heater, Heated Screen. Professionally fitted Immobiliser, Battery isolator, Aero Switch and Press Button Starter. Amazing condition…. 3,700 miles only, yes 3,700 from new. MOT and taxed, but will put a new MOT on it if the price is right. Gives and gets a lot of smiles and admiring glances. My inability to slim forces this reluctant sale. Offers around £9,250 to a good home. Keith

  12. The best place to mount the pump is on the passenger side rear panel between the petrol tank and the rear wheel inner wing side panel (this is the panel behind the rear wheel but obviously mounted on the inner side). This is close to the fuel hose connections and far enough away from your ears to make the noise almost non-existant. That's where I mounted mine and it does not drive me mad any more ... good luck. Keith
  13. Sorry .... I have already had a load of techy answers and I know that this is not really techy but I have seen a few 7's with good looking transmission tunnel coverings, leather / vinyl looking all over the tunnel and a neat gear stick hole... any idea where they are available from ? Grovelling gratefull .... Promise to ask a more techy question next time ... Keith
  14. Sorry guys but have to recommend a product from Hal'Frauds' ... I bought a Seven with alloy tarnish around the bonnet / carb area from a fire extinguisher putting out the flames from the webers on the way to Le Mans.... Peek Multi Purpose Metal Polish did the trick, comes as cream in a tube or liquid in a tin.... it really works ... yes you get the black stage but the shine after is exceptional and lasts. Happy polishing .... Keith
  15. Hi there .... cannot be sure, and I bet someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the gearbox in question was fitted to the original Ford Corsair 2000E. I was lucky enough to own an original Lotus Super 7 with a 16oo x flow, the gearbox in question and an Escort Mexico back axle... great fun. Wish I still had it. Good luck and happy blatting !!! Keith
