Had to make a small bracket from a piece of aluminum that bolts on to the inside of the stanchion using the 2 bolts from lower door fitting. Luckily the mirror had a single bolt that just fits behind the stanchion (So keeps everything else untouched). Easy to unbolt and refit the doors again if I need/want to.

I've been pondering this exact issue for a while myself over recent months. Been pondering the full Brookland style aero-screen option too but settled on this for now....... Finally got around to fitting some pre-loved aluminum bullet-style mirrors that I stumbled across on Ebay. Only managed a quick test drive so far and after 22+ years of driving with the doors on, I can confirm it's a very liberating experience. I might have a different word to describe it when I get to have a proper journey.... I'll attempt to post a photo of the end result tomorrow.
