thanks Fil , it does look a bit daunting. I'll have another look when the thing arrives, but I may be better to wait until I'm down your way to get some support! I wouldn't have thought the TPS voltage/setting would be wrong, but it's not idling as well as it did a few thousand miles ago when it was mapped

wish I'd known about that 3 days ago!
-
or you could just get an LSD 😬 😬
-
thank you .. I will await it's arrival and then try to learn how to use it .

does anyone know if this would be the right size for Caterham Roller Barrels?
thanks
-
it did seem depressingly cheap for its specification to me !

Quoting Englishmaninwales:IMO not good practice to jack on the central crucifix.
😳 that's where they told us to jack up the front on the GTKYC day!

My stack is a Caterham branded one, and it's locked down .. you can't change the number of cylinders. You might be able to do something with the ECU pins.
(good plan though! 😬)

put me down for one too please

Tom, just to agree with Mankee, Steve Greenall (of the two Steves fame) also told me this .. always blip the throttle to get the alternator charging .. he showed it to me on his screen.

or this here ?

I think I'm too late to avoid the scratches, mines already fairly bad .. but what was the sock technique?
The weather was good but the day was short and sweet as some gentleman in a porsche took out some landing lights (spun on the second bend) and so the day was cancelled before it really got started!

I think it's all down to the connectors on the back .. mine has 2 posts, 10mm and 8mm nuts .. I think the loom is EU2
-
thanks John, that looks like the one .. I needed mine today unfortunately, so I ended up paying nearly double that! A good spare to put in stock, I think, in hindsight ...

I need to source one of these at short notice (as in now!) I have searched but am still a bit confused .. will any K series alternator fit or have caterham modified it (as the price difference seems to be about £200!) It's (I think) an 1800 EU2 that's on there now
thanks
