    Next Meeting Sunday 2nd June

    Monthly Meetings
    Our next meeting will be on Sunday the 2nd of June 11am at Cornwall Services, Victoria, PL26 8UF. We will then go for a short blat to Penweathers where Douglas and Mari Evans, have very kindly offered to host a club barbecue. 

    Can you please let John or Lyn know if you plan on attending by the 25th of Mayand if you have any special dietary requirements. 
    Furthermore, if the weather is bad Doug & Mari have a covered area that we can use. 

    A big thank you to Doug & Mari for hosting this event.

    Sunday 5th of May Club Meeting

    Monthly Meetings
    Our next meeting will be on Sunday the 5th of May 11am at Cornwall Services, Victoria, Roche, PL26 8UF. 

    We will then go on a blat to, Tre Pol & Pen, Lezant, Launceston, PL15 9NN 01566 706527 for lunch arriving at 13.30pm

    Please note, Lyn and I will not be attending as our cancelled Stranglers concert has been rescheduled for the 5th. 

    Please let John or Lyn know if you plan on attending by the 27th of April (We will be in Krakow)

    Early Retirement

    Hi all
    Having spent the whole my working life in the construction industry I am contemplating early retirement. I am currently working as a Freelance Quantity Surveyor specializing in Groundworks estimating and contract valuations. The wife & I plan to live off our savings and some rental income. I am only 56 years old, but I have I had just about enough of the construction industry. I would like to hear the thoughts of members who have retired early and what they actually do with all their free time.
