I have applied a red garage floor paint to my two garage floors, using the same method of preparation, i. e. brushing to remove dust, scrubbing with warm water and detergent followed by a cold water rinse. After allowing a couple of days to dry, I have applied two coats of the garage floor paint as per the manufacturer's instructions.
One garage is very successful with all the paint being in good condition whilst the other, in one area only, the paint has peeled or flaked off. Neither garage floor has been heavily contaminated with oil.
I am looking to try to re-coat the affected area but before doing this I would appreciate any advice on preparation, choice of paint etc. that may be available.
Thanks in advance!
Happy New Year
