  3. Both drycell batteries, 625 has higher cold cranking amps than 680 but the reverse for HCA. What opinions/experiences are there for these batteries and what does the Suffix for the 680 stand for MJ = metal jacket what about the T = thermal?? and do you need the jacket when using the hold down box?

  4. Terry, I'd go for the the 244 but bear in mind the extra cost on the head work, if I remember you have to get the spring decks machined on the head due to the extra lift produced by the cam, but worth the extra power in the long run.

  5. Peter go for it and fit the Spherical type. I bought and fitted the Spherical bearing type A frame from Caterham years ago...no more changing bushes everytime you've been out on the track.

  6. Try tie wraps around the springs at suitable degrees of distance (ie 90deg.) stops the springs rubbing directly againt the dampers.

  7. Hi Bob, I actually mean't a Live axle (the whole thing). I'm importing my car from the UK to Canada and have a Zetec to drop into the car when it arrives and need to get an axle to take the power. was hoping to get one in canada or will have to source one from the uk later this year

  8. #1, sounds like rings or valve guides worn, at 31000miles probably time for rebuild anyway. #2, I would obtain the gaskets either from caterham/The 7 workshop or similar because the ports are bigger on the supersprint head therefore standard size gaskets could interfere with exhaust flow.

  9. Try replacing the overflow tank with the K series type pressurised tank/system, worked on my x/flow. James whiting can help with the parts.
