    Prescott?

Great weekend at Prescott. Lucky with the weather and all the usual spirit of the championship on display with Dan and Lewis managing to at least keep one car running between them!!! and Mr Matchwick staking a very strong claim on my golden trowel award. Well done Lewis for a fantastic result, very impressive driving indeed!! Roll on Epynt next weekend
  2. Totally agree, it was a great day and a fine example of how to run an event!! Thank you

    Curborough

Yes, thank you all involved for a great day
  4. Thank you Andy and Carl for some great photos. Especially the very handsome dark blue SV But seriously great job!!
  5. Yes spectators are welcome. Practice starts at 9am with first timed run before lunch and probably 2 more after. Hope you enjoy it and its dry!!!!!
  6. That's a shame Chris. Could I self identify as a class 4 competitor on a whim just for Sunday? Or is that only allowed in Scotland?
  7. Just checked and unfortunately I wasn't as slow as I remember last time, so EL points are possible but not in the bag!!
  8. Oh dear it wasn't last year it was 2021 I only remember a silly cone chicane at windsock? or was that the time before? and didn't we do a lap and a bit last time? Perhaps my memory is getting worse.
  9. Thanks Roger, I was wondering about that from the regs map. No Edward Lewis points then, wast of time my sandbagging last year
  10. Thanks Chris I have to be first at something!!!
  11. Won't the extra weight on the nose upset the ballance of the car?
  12. Ha ha yes, I think his name is really Phil, but I am convinced that in a past life he was a cartoon character!!!! Roll on Cadwell
  13. Very well put Lewis, I had the same experience 7 years ago when I started my first event also at Goodwood. (apart from Dick Dastardly constantly telling me that corners that needed a dab on the brakes where FLAT IN FIFTH !!!!!!) However I did at least have the good grace not to beat any of those encouraging me by half way thru the first season But seriously apart from learning annoyingly fast you are a great asset to the championship. It is as you say a very welcoming championship and long may it continue Anyone know how the numbers are looking now?
  14. I think I would have to agree with you Justin!!!!
  15. CLARIFICATION I very much do want to win!!! Just not because I am the only one entered!!!
  16. It has come to my notice that entries are a bit slow coming in this year. So just by way of giving a nudge to those hesitating, cogitating or procrastinating, I would say this. Get your entry in ASAP, as I wouldn't want to win the championship just because you didn't get your entry in on time!! But seriously, let's give Andy a hand and make his life easier, you know it makes sense. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!!! Tony
  17. Same for me. Thanks Graham
  18. Same for me, entered and paid but no conformation email or receipt, so no idea if it worked or not. Have emailed and asked.
  19. Would you not agree Michael, that Kim would be much happier in class 2. As I understand it the 1A tyres are much better and all the competitors are really friendly. Just trying to help
  20. Oh well, I was going to book it, but I agree with Graham its really not worth it without the start etc. I will be off to Llandow at some point in March as they are very flexible and you can do a test day or just 3 hours and re arrange it if it looks like rain on the day.
  21. Hi Kim, Welcome to the Championship. What class are you going to be in?
  22. I am sure Jason you will get over it soon enough and normal service will be resumed at Cadwell
  23. Yes I know its a bit early in the year to be thinking about it, but I am getting itchy feet!! If anyone is planning a pre season test day at Curborough I would be keen to make up the numbers if there was room. Tony
