I have 13" anthracite alloys on my car, 6" on the front with 175 CR500s and 8" on the back with 205 CR500s. Both fronts and backs are quite worn and the DHD highlighted a few grip issues, so I'll be ordering a full set of CR500s today. However what I'd like to do is keep the old 175 tyres and use them as rears for trackdays. I already have one spare 6x13" alloy so would just need to acquire another and fit the old 175 tyres to them. But would the 6" wheels go on the back ok in place of the 8" ones? I'm pretty sure they would but wanted to check 😬 Also does anyone else just change the rears for trackdays or do you have a full set of trackday wheels? Many thanks and apologies if this has been done before!

Proxy spot by my four year old son 😬 Yellow 7 with black roll bar parked up in lay-by chatting to a biker about 3.15pm this afternoon. My wife says he waved like mad as they went past in her blue Octavia VRS Estate.

Fil, my (non-lardy S3 ) has the supersport R upgrade too and I get pretty much exactly what you get. It does smell rich at idle ie of neat petrol so I think mine is also running a little rich. The previous owner had it mapped at a place in Northampton so it's not Caterham's map but I have the same ECU as you. To be honest I'm happy as the driveability at low speed is excellent, it doesn't pop and bang too much and it pulls like a train. The dyno plot show 168bhp and 137lbft of torque. Andrew

This weekend I used (and I kid you not) peanut butter 😬 Honestly I did. And the result, genuinely, was briliant. I used it on the rear arch protectors and on my cycle wings and I'm pretty impressed. Smells nice too 😬

Thanks chaps, but I think I will just order the racetech ones and be done with it. I'm kicking round the idea of an aeroscreen too

Does anyone have any they would like to part with? I would like to drive more with the doors off the car and something like the Racetech jobs would be ideal. TIA, Andrew

Nick, the website is confusing. If you do a search then the CSR loom comes up but then if you add it to the cart it says S3 Long story short the part number is the same and it fits my S3 a treat

Mine is all done, tested and works great Good fun for my first job on the car and only took 20 minutes start to finish 😬 Thanks all for the help and advice.

Thanks for the replies chaps I hear what you're saying about aeroscreen but even with the doors and windscreen on in the winter I'd still like the option. Jason, what extra bits did you use to fit your mirrors to the windscreen? I like your car BTW, saw the build on PH and it looks fab!

I am seriously considering getting the Caterham carbon aeroscreen and carbon mirrors for the summer. However, I also like driving the car with the just the windscreen on and no doors. To save me doubling up on two sets of mirrors, is there any way I can use the aeroscreen left and right side mirrors but mounted on the side of the standard windscreen? Would I need any extra bits? And does anyone else actually do this?

Great stuff, many thanks and as you say an sounds like an easy job. I just need to source some Mango Yellow insulation tape now for my roll bar 😬 Should get the brake light on Wednesday but it will have to wait as CC are out of stock of the loom which is annoying 😔

SM25T, I've just ordered the same brake light as you from CBS as I'm concerned about some numpty driving into the back of me. How did you fit yours and where/how did you route the wires? Did you buy the sub loom from CC too? TIA, Andrew
