  3. Hmm, interesting question. I had my car painted by Specialised Paintwork of Reading(0118 9481839) from a batch used to paint a works Maclaren M8 Can-Am car, but the colour is more of a yellow -orange, and described as 'tangerine'. Look at contemporary sixties pictures and you'll see this is the case. The F1LM launched a few years ago by MacLaren was painted a much darker orange. Raceline used this colour to paint their 'Black' brick - there are pictures on the website (www.raceline.co.uk) and they know the colour codes. Regards, Charles Eaton-Hennah
  4. Thanks Dave, I'd be happy to make a contribution. As it happens I only want to fit the bar to please my wife. She's a lot happier about the idea of my 3yo son passengering in the car if there's a steel bar over his head! I plan to be at Stoneleigh on Sunday if that's any help. Charles
  5. Simon, I'd be interested in the Petty strut if you're willing to split. That's on the basis that it will fit a year 2000 live axled Classic. Regards, Charles EH

    Rose Joint?

Interested to see you did the Leda/A frame rosejointed modification Dean. Would you consider it is worth the money? What rate rear springs are you using? Regards, Charles EH (Zetec engined Classic)
  7. It only look me a couple hours to change the rear springs on my live axled car this week-end. Don't forget to put some protection between the axle and the chassis member it runs over. The axle will drop as you undo the top damper mount. Regards Charles E-H

    Petty bar

Petty bar wanted for Classic. Please call me on 07748 147628 Regards, Charles Eaton-Hennah
  9. There's one sitting in my garage for you to collect. Yours for a small donation to NTL. regards Charles Eaton-Hennah 07748 147628
  10. I've just finished building a Classic with a 1999 2l Zetec on 45DCOE webers, and a Ford axle. It appears that Ford made some changes to the head design when they introduced the post 5/98 engines, as mine produced around 170bhp on a rolling road with std cams. The installation was more problematic though as James Whiting and Raceline hadn't really geared up for the later engines Regards, Charles Eaton-Hennah
  11. Wanted for Caterham Zetec Project: 13"x6" superlite type wheels, four only, must be in good condition(I may consider 14"x6" also) Call on 01753-863517 or email eaton_hennah@msn.com
  12. Try 'Fast Ford' magazine. There are several suppliers listed in the back selling Sierra 'boxes for the max poer brigade. The prices look pretty reasonable.
  13. I'm looking for a FIA rollbar for a current spec. classic(live axle)chassis. This is to complete my Classic Zetec project. If you have one available, please contact me on 01753 863517(eves)or email on charles.hennah@msn.com
