Calling new supersport owners, what ratio is your diff? Mine is 3.91 (stamped on it) but some of the paperwork indicated 3.6

Thanks SM25T, was not aware of the suspect hazard switch, all part of the learning process. I flicked the switch good few times today so fingers crossed. Will investigate the relay tomorrow.

With new jump leads it fired ok. Went for a 1hour drive and seems ok, will be interesting to see if holds charge overnight. Only issue is that the indicators now stay on when activated rather than flash so the relay must be goosed, not being a electrical expert, could this have flattened the battery in the first place?

Went to start the car for an early morning blat today and found the battery totally dead, not even an immobiliser LED flash, fuel pump prime, ignition system click, nothing. All switches were off and it was only 14hours after a 90mile blat yesterday evening. The car is only a few weeks old, circa 600miles, has been driven every 3rd/4th day and has always started first time Off to Halfords to buy new jump leads as, to add insult to injury, my set fell apart..... not a good start to the day ! Having read other battery threads I'm not sure the cause given the newness and recent trouble free use (until now), any ideas?

First service due so popped into Halfords to get oil and a filter. Looked up the book for Ford 1.6 oil filter which suggested HOF335. The filter is shorter than the standard one and I've read Ford are switching to the shorter version, has anybody else used this filter on their Sigma ?

@ Dougie, thanks for the tip on the fuel. I specced weather equipment (over £1k option ) and did not receive the standard aeroscreen or supersport half doors. When queried, I was told that said half doors and aeroscreen were not included due to my addition of the weather equipment option, which I thought was odd . Looking and your and Oli's posts I suspect I've been had......

Quick question, are these required on the cycle wings for IVA? I notice some people have them fitted but many do not

Hi, does anybody have a photo to show how these are stuck on, especially those who have opted to use bighead fasteners. Really don't want to drill the CF !

Is there a seal/gasket to protect the paint between the bonnet and lip around the engine bay it sits on??

So you managed to sort out the engine plumbing. Sounds like you're making good progress, mine really struggles to idle, waiting for PBC to sort it out.

The track day rollover bar supplied with the Supersport S3 I'm building has a forward leaning angle (a few inches). Do all the rollover bars have a forward lean? I am curious because it fouls on the seats (new GT style) so you cannot get them fully back leaving a 2.75" gap between the seatback and rear bulkhead (resulting in 2.75" less legroom ).

Does anybody know why wood is used instead of alu/honeycomb in the front section of the boot floor? Is it advisable to treat it to prevent it rotting away?!

Thanks for the replies, Fulke/MOG do make a carbon one for the Sigmas but decided against it.

Hi, is there an undertray available specifically for the Sigma engine (S3, metric chassis)? I see Fluke Motorsport have one and have emailed to check if there is a Sigma version (don't fancy cutting the CF)! What is the consensus on these? Anybody had problems or damage from stones/debris in the engine bay? Am I right in saying the CSRs have them as standard?

My diff says 3.91 on it. No idea what the ratios are. Will be able to comment on the box once I've finished the build!!
