  1. As posted above, if someone has a inline fuel pressure gauage i could borrow while i set my car up, that would be brilliant? I've also seen this one, but it make me nervous as it is cheap AND has a gauge Link Anyone tried it? Edited by - Slippers on 31 Mar 2011 07:37:58 Edited by - Slippers on 31 Mar 2011 07:38:20
  2. Can anyone advise on a good one to get that has a gauge? I have seen many on offer, at various prices and all appear to do the same. I have gas flowed my zetec head and according to omex, i require 3.9 bar fuel pressure for the map they have provided. Any info would be great!
  3. The grill in my nosecone made a horrible noise at one point as it was slightly loose
  4. Reviving an old thread.... ..Have you tried to MOT these yet, were you sucessful? I am thinking of doing something similar.
  5. Looks like a lovely apartment. I'm planning on going to Tignes at the end of feb, although haven't booked anything yet. I hope the snow will be as you have in your pictures, stunning.
  6. This item is still for sale for those interested If there is no interest here i will probably place it on ebay at some point
  7. Sure thing, i have a dvr here to show you it working. I'll do it tomorrow evening
  8. I have a Dogcam HQ1 based on the sony chipset that is about 2 years old. The archos is used and the battery is not as good as it was (wasn't great to start) but is functional. 9. Thanks for the reply, I'll check out the link. It is a blacktop zetec i have and i have the 285 cams that raceline supplied me ages ago, which i believe are kent cams. I may have a friend who would be interested in the silvertop head depending on what you would want for it.
  10. I've tried searching BC but i keep getting internal errors and therefore cannot find an answer to my question. I have stripped back my engine bay to the point where it would only take an hour to take the cams of and remove the head. I already have uprated cams so I am thinking that i might get the head polished/ported/flowed etc, maybe increase the compression to 11:1. I know raceline do this, and at a competitive price, or so i believe, but i think they have a very long lead time, although i will enquire. Does anyone have any other recommendations for companies/people who can perform this task? I don't want to go mad, just want to get the engine up to about 200bhp. Cheers
  11. Me, well, I had a Tiger one left over from when i had a Tiger and i had since modified it. I have a small denso type alternator in there, although i'd like a more powerful variant. I've seen the raceline version but it was, i believed, massively overpriced compared to other brackets. If it is machined rather than welded/fabricated then it would certainly be better, but as I have access to millers, i'd rather save the money and make it mayself, especially as i have some special requirements due to proximity of chassis members and other bits. Hence why i would like a model rather than going out to measure the entire area and construct the model myself.
  12. Does anyone know where i might find a 3d model of the black top 2.0 zetec? Drawings would also be of use because I am fed up of alternator brackets failing and i want to design and mill one that I know will not fail. Cheers
  13. I use burton power for mine From a mk2 escrot mexico...the number is something like QH1062. It is about a tenner.
