    My car has the 16" 5 spoke wheels. Can you advise me whether I can do a straight swap for 13" for use on track days etc. If so what would you recommend for an all round tyre. The car has flared wings, so mudguard size should not be an issue.

    Thanks for the replies. Seems to clear it up ie don't need one on K-series

    The MSA year book and the Comp Sec both say a catch tank is needed. Caterham, however, say they don't fit, and there is no need to fit a catch tank on a K-series engine as it breathes directly into the inlet manifold. Any views? If I do need one, do I block off one of the two pipes and direct the other to the catch tank?
