  1. 2 x 185/55/13 suitable for 6" rim 2 x 215/55/13 suitable for 8" rim These tyres were purchased brand new from BMTR 18/04/16 at a cost of £600. They have completed 10 runs at Crystal Palace and are hardly worn. Make me an offer?
  2. Nigel, try a petrol soaked soft cloth and keep persevering refreshing the petrol now and again and you should find it will come off in small rubbery balls!!

Thanks to everyone who came to the Palace this year to support this great event, it was good to see the club stand well attended and for my part I hope I entertained them all at the hairpin trying to beat my fastest time which I managed on the final run on Monday!   8. My old autrograss Escort had a welded diff, great fun driving looking out the side window when going straight!!!
  9. Can confirm bigheads are the way to go, I bonded the bigheads to the underside of carbon wings with carbon ribbon this giving belt and braces strength.

  12. POBC has anyone ran a Supersport 140 in any speed event with the peashooter 4" silencer? or as I suspect, will I need to obtain a "quieter" can rather than be kicked out before I turn a wheel! I suspect the i-phone app may be a starting point so any suggestions most welcome

  14. Use Cobalt bits as well, very sharp for the curved surfaces that need to be drilled

    Headlamp Wiring

    I found that using an old bycycle break cable with the wires duck taped to the end did the job but you may have to do it one wire at a time, also, for a road vehicle the rubber grommet must be in place for the IVA test.

  18. I have been asked by a friend to see if anyone is interested in a Lotus Twin cam engine he has for sale. Brief spec; Steel crank (EN40B) Steel rods,Forged race pistons,lightweight flywheel,TT44 race cams,Dry sump,cossie bolts etc. I believe that this engine was one of 2 used in a racing lotus seven and the full engine spec is available from myself having been built by Twincan Techniques of Hinckley in 1986. Drop me a line for further info where I will be happy to put you in touch with the seller who I believe is open to offers.
