  1. Hi "Revilla",

I'm not keen on that either as I'm on MacBook OS and I know how picky it can be!

Since I am not desperate, how about I take the ECU out and drive up to you and you sort it out while I am there?  It wouldn't be for a couple of weeks.

Whadda you say, it would really help me out!

  2. BTW

If it is just to do this, then I have tried

Insert the iginition key in the ignition and turn it on.
Turn it off BUT DO NOT REMOVE THE KEY!
    Open the fob.
    Remove the battery.
Wait ten seconds (or a bit more)
    Reinsert the battery.
    Close the fob cover.
    Operate each button 5 times.

It's not just the faff of unsetting the thing, I simply want to get rid of the lock barrel (redundant) and replace the key and immobiliser with keyless.

  3. K series.  I am tired of waiting for my temperamental "Rover" key fob to let me start the car and since the steering lock is redundant (removable wheel) I want to go down the 'keyless ignition' route.

Can anyone recommend someone in the Surrey area who can do this?

  4. From a 2016 (metric) in perfect condition but note - has no diagonal brace (lots prefer the look of these).

There are three holes drilled where there was a high level brake light fitted but I removed it.

I'm letting this go for a very reasonable price but it has to be picked up from me and I am in Caterham.

    £75

  5. Four Minilite wheels and four Yokohama 185/60 - R13 tyres.  These have been used for trackdays on my Series 3 and are certainly not in mint condition but are absolutely ideal to use again on track.  Plenty of tread left for this purpose.

They are in my way so will sell all four for £120 but they must be collected from the Caterham area.

  6. I've posted this a few times last year but as the 2020 'get-it-sorted' time is approaching may I ask if anyone has a pair of 'standard' seats to sell?  I currently have a pair of genuine Tillets with the diamond style stitched Oxted Trimming jobbies but want to go back to the standard ones.

Ideally, I want to buy the standard ones, fit them then offer my pair of Tillets for sale but would give 'first refusal' on the Tillets if someone wanted to to do a swap.

Always ready to talk if you PM me.

  7. I've just received your comment:

"I noticed your comment on my ad.

I'll look out for you selling something and post a comment with a link on how you can buy a similar item much cheaper."

Well Michael, if you care to look back I say:

"Maybe not as good as Mike 150's but an option"

So I am not putting your product down at all.

But, your childish threat to spoil a listing from me is rude and not at all in the spirit of this forum.

    An apology would be appreciated.

    David
