Peter Wallace's Dj had Dj's own supercharger install, probably very simialr in conception to the new Sbd setup, interestingly SBD have fitted it to an otherwise standard engine, so it retains the standard engine flexibility, something which has been missing from the current supercharged busa's in hillclimbing. Deano I can supply you either the Varley or Odyssey gel batteries with a 20% discount off the normal price. For a 1.8vhpd the racing 25 would prob be the best size. cheers Dave

If you are correct on the price , i'd be heading down to my local vinyl sign shop to see what off cuts they have, plus the range of colours is huge. Prob cost no more than £10. Dave

Has anybody got an old build manual with the instructions for fitting the under scuttle handbrake handle (inc how to bend it). I have registered several 7 all without Cert of newness and got them all onto the current numberplate. I even built an Escort Cosworth from a motorsport shell with new/secondhand parts and got that on a current reg (admitedly back in 96 ) As long as i had reciepts to confirm that the parts that you have are all new, IIRC they had a list of main parts that you had to submit the relevent invoices for, you normally get a current plate. This was all pre sva , but as far as i can recall the actually registration process has not changed. Good luck, i used to take a 6" pile of invoices all neatly filed 😬 Dave

Dave From what i remember Phil telling me its very similar, but the ramp angles and plate design are more suited for the 7. Dave

Graham I'm looking at a Prosport, as they are relatively cost effective and the perfomance level is nearly on par with the SR3. It should be a good intro into Circuit racing. Dave
