Be aware that you'll need to speak with Richard Armitage at GEMS and NOT Richard Lloyd.
IMHO RA is much more customer focussed and easier to deal with, RL is a bit of a boffin and can be frustratingly difficult to relate to.
I had a problem with my 1996 GEMS ECU last year (sudden back-fires, loss of power & then total cut-out), sent it back to them for checking, took 'em approx a fortnight to fix - still don't know what was wrong (& GEMS wouldn't say!). The invoice had an unspecified part replaced on it.
