The harder you go - the more grip you will have in all honesty as you generate heat in the tyre. I've always attacked the first corner (flagpole) extremely hard at Curborough to generate heat for the rest of the run..
I always aim for the kerb on the inside at flagpole - but rarely hit it due to scrub and understeer as the tyres are still cold - but it it puts you in a position on track to open up the right into woodside.
I'm not the best example of how to do Curborough - but the only Kerb I don't hit at Curborough is Fradley and that's not through want of trying!
Molehill - you actually want to be halfway up the bank in all honesty..

You really do need the crotch straps fitted to prevent submarine gold.. Unsure whether you can use 3”, however several manufacturers do sell 3” HANS compliant straps. I know mine are HANS compliant from Simon at Meteor and are 3” shoulder straps.
Holes- there is guidance online for spacing with Hans and angle behind the seat. I can’t recall recommended spacing but some guidance here https://www.tillett.co.uk/shop/documents/downloads/seat-belt-fitting-information-2012.pdf
And, I do have a very sexy Stand 21 Ultimate carbon Hans available size L, 20 degree, only as personally i really didn’t get on with it..

Richard.
ithink I have one. If I find it i’ll Text you.

Looks ok.. can’t tell the wall thickness of the structure to determine whether it’s heavy duty or not.
i’d keep an eye out for a good old Ez-up however. Proven and spares readily available.
For corner weights- a few use the bags that strap round the posts - filled with sand or similar. I have the plastic tubs that fix around the legs you fill with water. However, in the event of high winds they won’t stop it moving. If high winds I normally try and strap it to the trailer.,

I’m looking for a k- series Sump if anyone has one. Mine is very thin so if anyone has converted to dry sump i’d be interested in taking your old one.

As per the subject - i’m Looking for a set of supersport cams for a k-series EU2 engine.
-
My video is
suprisingly steady looking. Apologies for quality
-
Dave.
Do you still have these? I’ve checked mine and noted my supersport cams probably aren’t- they appear to have 8.8mm lift.

Can I let my space go to one of the reserves please?
Dan

Chris...may i??!!

I have a bare head, came from a running car. No cams, VVC mechs removed, valves remain.
Kept as a project but could be convinced to sell
-
I’m in...
-
I’ll swap my harnesses round then.. rather than argue with a scrutineer
-
Thanks Chris.. err.. however from an engineering perspective- what difference does it make given the webbing is consistent weave across the fabric..
-
Acknowledged appears to mean received.
You should get an email from Alan Want confirming entry or confirming your place on the reserve list.
i’m unsure If there is an outright NO policy with them if they have a limited number of reserves.

I’m reserve number 1 Si..

No idea what that is Steve. However if you are looking for a circuit experience day there are loads of them available.
Depends on your budget and what you want.. take a look at the bookatrack site. They do trackdays and also have a fleet of hire cars.
-
NUP.. but they have cashed the cheque!
-
If there is space... I'd like to attend...

Consider it yours. If I drink enough (if i finish the car) I may even forget to take payment (temporarily)

It was and will remain a truly great run Phil and a truly well deserved victory whatever occurred following the run.
However - Coaching for Tony will now be issued with a non-disclosure agreement!
I look forward to Curborough where we now expect more of the same!
