  1. The trailer is in Bedford but I can arrange a viewing given a genuine commitment. It is in perfect condition. Bought from new in 2004 with jockey wheel, spare wheel, ramps, winch and chocks. It has covered maybe 4-5K since new and has been garaged throughout.
  2. Track width on my Superlight is: Inner tyrewall to inner tyrewall = 117cm Outer tyrewall to outer tyrewall = 152cm Brian James will probably be able to say whether or not the SV will fit but I suspect that it will.
  3. I may be mistaken but I was under the impression that although the body is wider on the SV the wheels are the same width apart as on the roadsport cars. If this is the case then I would say yes. The trailer is in Bedford and I am in Lancs so I cannot measure it but I can give you the dimensions of the track on my superlight. Check this post again at midday and I should have the figures for you.
  4. Clubman 950 with the '04 Safety pack. Cost £1300-ish new in 2004. Suitable for widetrack.
  5. Graham Out of interest, what starter do you have fitted? I have a 1.6 Superligh and replaced the original Magnetti Marelli starter with a Brise and immediately found the same issue as you. When I refitted the origianal the fault was immediately cured which leads me to think that the problem is related to energy drain. Anyway, the Brise starter cured the K series click problem that I was suffering from so I have kept in installed. Rather than input throttle movement, if I continue to turn the engine over for several more turns it does fire up with no throttle input. I'd be interested to hear how you get on. Conor

  8. I just measured the circumference of the tyre with my mam's dress tape and it came out at 172cm. I haven't confirmed that with the Garmin as yet but it seems about right.

    Oulton Park

Aaargh! When were the forms sent out for Oulton July 24th? I've been waiting and waiting for this, booked the leave and now it's full. Anyone want to sell their green group slot for asking price plus a donation to NtL?
  11. Nic Just a suggestion but you could consider mounting it on the half shaft and running the cable up the tranny tunnel. I fitted mine last month on the recommendation of one of the LADS and it works very well. It also allows you to change wheels for trackdays. I can provide pics.
  12. Compomotive Wheels. Split Rim approx 12 y.o. but in very good condition. Previously fitted on a Davrian. Very slight corrosion will polish out with a bit of elbow grease. No scuffs or damage to rims. Front: 13” 4 hole PCD = 4.0” Centre Bore = 2³/8” Overall Width (OW) = 8½” Back Spacing (T) = 4.0” Offset = -¼” Rear: 13” 4 hole PCD = 4.0” Centre Bore = 2³/8” Overall Width (OW) = 10¾” Back Spacing (T) = 4.0” Offset = -1¼” £225 for the set.
  13. Me too. I want one. Conor
  14. Many thanks indeed particularlty to Geoff and his crew but also to the other club members who made our first Uk trackday such a memorable experience.
  15. Has anyone had experience of refurbishing alloys as offered by various companies ie. Halfrauds? What is your opinion on the standard of work?
