    Hi everyone, I am looking for a 7 SV just for fun, no track days and have seen a few for sale. My concern is that when checking their MOT history the recorded mileage often goes backward. I'm assuming this means a replacement odometer/ speedo has been fitted. Is it not possible to match the mileage when fitting a replacement or is that a silly question? I am wanting to buy but what do you think? I am a bit anoracky regarding provenance - am I over cautious?

    As a newbie I need help, wanting to buy a 7, but MOT mileage shows mileage going backwards at a certain point. Have had a reassurance from seller but generally what do you think. Will the discrepancy affect future saleability? It is a lovely car but should I walk away?
