Colin_T - we did the 4th March 2024 Trackday (three days ago) in our R500 Duratec - we initially failed the Static Noise Test, but after re-installing the Catalytic Converter we passed at 101db (the maximum limit) @ 5,500rpm. We were also concerned about the low Drive-By 87.5db limit but even at full chat we didn’t get any Warnings. I hope this helps?

Thank you for your replies, Dobson_justin and Malcolm. I can see looking at various photos, attaching the Timing Strut to the Grill seems to be most popular. It looks like I need to make Version 2…. 😉

Question from a newbie….. would this timing strut be OK for sprinting and hill climbing events? It complies with the measurements in the Blue Book - it is the fitting to the car using the number plate that I am seeking advice on from those who are more knowledgeable. With kind regards Mark
