  1. Thanks for the replies - and thanks for the offer Mark. Looks like no-one has any thoughts on the Nangkang tyres?
  2. I know that this has been raised a few times recently, but I need to replace my 2 front tyres - currently AO48. As they are now no longer E-marked, I see that 2 of the most obvious replacements are either Nangkang NS-2R or Toyo R888R tyres. Does anyone have experience of both of these that would offer a comment? It's for mostly road use with occasional trackdays on a 1989 Crossflow Supersprint. Ta ETA - 185/60 R13 wheels
  3. BRG with yellow stripe - I was the red 7 heading towards Horton as you drove towards Salcey forest. Are you local?
  4. Cheers - ordered from Redline
  5. Cheers Going for Mintex 1144 pads as I think this is what I used last time - for Spitfire calipers?
  6. Looking to replace the front discs and pads on my '89 Crossflow (DeDion). Can anyone tell me what I need? Are they Triumph or Ford parts? Thanks
  7. That was my next stop - but was too late today
  8. I'm having trouble sourcing a new clutch assembly for my 1989 X/flow. The existing one has 23 splines and is 193mm in diameter. Looking at old records from the previous owner, the part no. on the invoice (CP2012-165) points to an AP 184mm plate. So can anyone help with identifying what the 193mm one may be? Or could I go with the 184mm plate?
  9. I need a new hub for the front nearside wheel as the bearing is loose inside and has been 'spinning'. My car is a 1989 deDion x/flow. I have a feeling that it is the same hub as a Triumph Herald or Spitfire... Is this correct? I tried the search facility - but it doesn't seem as specific as the older version! Cheers
  10. What a coincidence - I also spotted the same car this morning. 😬
  11. Well if you'd been a bit quicker - you'd have been in front... 😬 😬
  12. Speak for yourself Boris, I drive a real Caterham with a proper engine... And I have the oil slick in the garage to prove it 😬
  13. One lovely, shiny, red 24 year old crossflow, the other was a dirty, dusty black modern monstrosity without carbs . One was mine and the other belongs to Boris. We'd had a good blat and needed a bite to eat.
