  1. Hi, thanks for the link. I will contact them but not sure it will sort my problem as the ball joint is fine and they re use the old arm so will still have the loose bush.
  2. Hi, I'm looking for a front top link for my imperial live axle seven, I need the offside one (Marked left), as the bush is a loose fit. Thanks
  3. Hi, Anyone know the correct clutch for the 1.8 Vauxhall to the type 9? The engine is out at the minute and although there are numbers on the clutch, they don't seem to correspond to anything. Also, the pressure plate has a GM no, the disc an unknown number and the release fork a Ford number. Numbers are as follows - Pressure plate - GM 90 470 887 and J6VKR 030395/01, Disc just has 784 stamped into it. Thanks in advance, Ed
  4. I concur about the SGS jacks, I got this one for the landy but because its so low it works a treat for the Seven, and being wide its a lot more stable when up high. https://www.sgs-engineering.com/tj2-5lp-low-profile-garage-trolley-jack?gclid=CjwKCAiA2L-dBhACEiwAu8Q9YJipVsZ3hvXy1zx6JsU7BlXmkW6oU4Ln_tPRUtUIdk0ivdrCYyx4ERoCTZAQAvD_BwE
  5. Sorry Graham and Jonathan, I've only just seen your responses, but that's brilliant thanks, will get them ordered then that's the last of the wiring to do. Your help is much appreciated, Ed
  6. Hi Jonathon, Will do, I've found a very similar connector on amazon for window winder mechanisms, but they only sell them in packs of 10, so still probably easier to contact Caerbont/Redline as you say. Shouldn't need any wiring diagrams thanks, I've got the assembly guide and there's a drawing in there. Thanks for the help, Ed
  7. There's 8 pins on the back of the tacho, thanks.
  8. Hi all, In the middle of an ECU change on my Beaulieu, and I need to fit a new connector into the plug that goes into the back of the tacho, but I'm not having any luck finding what I need to order. Can anyone advise where I can get one/ recognise what style it is? Thanks in advance. Ed
  9. Hi all, need a bit of advice. Took the Beaulieu to Hangar 111 to get the Webers tuned up today, but they've found an underlying fault which explains why I've never been able to get it running quite right. The issue is, the car has an MBE 956i ecu on it, which is not varying the ignition timing in reality compared to the map that's loaded on it. They also found another strange problem, that the ECU has a 12v supply to it, yet its only seeing just over 8v. They reckon that something has broken down in the ECU, and were surprised it was still working. After talking to them, I believe we have three options: A - Replace the ecu for a more modern one, they recommended an Omex. B - Get the existing ECU repaired, or replace it with a second hand one. C - Get rid of the ECU altogether, and get a distributor. I'd appreciate any opinions on which option should go down, we're not looking to get the car putting out much more than standard, just want it running well. Thanks in advance
