  1. I was at Museum when you decided to go cross country. I might be wrong but I don't think you're meant to try and jump the tyre wall 😳 Glad to hear the damage wasn't too serious. P.S I like the attempt to reverse back of the bank before anyone noticed where you had gone 😬 Edited by - Ian Warren on 31 Jul 2005 11:52:04
  2. *REMOVED* Change of plans, sorry! Ian Edited by - Ian Warren on 30 Jul 2005 09:29:10
  3. Don't know but there's a queue building 😬
  4. If Paul doesn't have the car cover I will! Ian
  5. If there is another floating about in the Chester/Liverpool/Manchester ish area I'll take it 😬
  6. I'd say everything is fine, don't know how reliable the sender is but as I say I get the same results as you and never had a problem. The fan is almost useless, if the temperature is getting too high you just need to overtake the traffic faster and get moving again 😬
  7. I don't know what xflow you're running but that sounds about the same as my 1600xf and I've had no problems with it. I'm not dry sumped but the pressures are still the same as you quoted, the temp is usually about 5deg less than you have quoted (ie I run at 80/85 running and 85/90 in traffic) I asked the same questions when I got it and was told thats normal.
  8. Does anyone happen to know when ford introduced the AX block? Thanks Ian.

A BRG 7 just trundled up the hill past my work! (Ludlow town centre)
  10. Can some one give me a rough idea of the weight of a xflow, I'm trying to arrange to get one in a couple of weeks and want to know the weight to sort transport. Thanks, Ian
  11. I'll have the engine build stand if its still for sale! Email me if it is and I'll sort out coming to get it.
  12. When my ignition system went bad I rather stupidly got hold of a Lucas Ignition Module DAB953. It's brand new but no box and I didn't need it as it wasn't the problem when I actually looked! If memory serves Caterham wanted £75 so any decent offers in the region (plus postage) will be accepted! Ian
  13. Have just checked Burton Power to see if I could make any sense of the numbers on this thing and it turns out its a: WEBER CARBURETTOR: 28/32 TLDM XR2 CVH 86on Part No: WEB22670.978 and I guess of no use to you after all, sorry!
  14. Have no idea what I'm talking about so don't know if this is what you're looking for or not but ... I have a brand new weber sat in the garage apparently my dad got it years and years ago for his car at the time and never used it? If you describe what you want I'll tell you if its what I've got!
  15. Bought first 7 last year and opted for bare ali, IMHO it looks so much nicer than painted. Didn't know how to go about polishing it (other than taking a couple of days by hand) then I found the following website. They're really helpful if you give them a call they'll tell you exactly what you need. http://www.polish-it.co.uk
