  1. Just a quick note that in the body of the ad you've written it was first registered in Oct 2020 LOL
  2. I think you may be right. I'll probably just get a respray and use the clear protective film for the bits left exposed.
  3. Really grateful for the comments. I'm glad to hear the protectors seem to work well but I can see where #Shortshift is coming from, particularly as my car is a Crossflow with lots of exposed aluminium and the upside of the steel protectors is that they do blend in with the overall look and feel of the car. And I'm not certain that putting carbon on the rear wings will allow the car to retain the authentic look. I've done a quick and dirty photoshop job and it doesn't actually look too bad but I'm still undecided and will probably have to sleep on it for a couple of days. Decisions, decisions...But at least I now know the carbon ones work well, so thanks again for the feedback....
  4. At the moment I have the polished steel protectors on my rear wings and have recently replaced them as the previous pair were quite pitted. However, I'm getting a little teed off having to touch up the paint not covered by the protectors. God knows who designed the ones I inherited when I bought the car or the ones I replaced them with as they leave about 2" of wing unprotected at the edge and at the bottom which seems bonkers to me. So I'm looking for an alternative solution and came across some Carbon wrap around protectors from Seven & Classics which seem, in theory, to be a much better solution. I'm wondering if anyone has fitted these and what their feedback might be. Thanks for any feedback you may be able to offer, together with any other suggestions other than adding any flappy rubber bits to my front wings which I won't entertain as they all totally spoil the car's overall design.
  5. Condition ? Price ? I think a few more details would help
  6. Call me dumb or what but I couldn't get the pedal out of the car. I have a 1995 X-flow and perhaps they're more difficult (but possibly not lol) and I also couldn't screw the bits together because of the extremely limited access in a 7 and the fact that my pedal is quite close to the right-hand panel. However, I did manage to get it attached with two tie wraps and it's working brilliantly. I heel and toe a lot but just couldn't get to grips with the default Caterham pedal arrangement, even by shifting pedals around. This little extension has totally changed my driving experience and the slight pain of getting it attached has been far outweighed by the benefits it has brought. Brilliant...
  7. Just picked up my Crossflow from Eric at Millwoods after having a Racetech combo oil pressure and temperature gauge fitted amongst a few other mods. And I'm really glad I decided to do this as it takes a lot longer for the oil to get to a good operating temperature (I use 80C), especially in this cold weather. Perhaps Caterham can think about adding one as standard in the future
  8. IMO oil temperature is of paramount importance and in fact I'm just having Milwoods install a dual oil temp/pressure guage on my Crossflow. High revving of the engine at low oil temperature can do a great deal of damage and I've always been surprised that Caterham don't have them fitted as a default.
  9. Looks nice and if GP Sevens are happy with the price you're asking I'm sure you'll get close. Just out of my price bracket sadly....
  10. Loads of nice ones for sale here: https://www.plates4less.co.uk/?plate=A7CSR
  11. I want to replace my wheel nuts on my 1995 crossflow with a live axle. Caterham parts only have 4 available and I'm after 16. Anyone suggest where I may get them all ? Thx
